☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: She's an anthropomorphic duck in a full length dress and fingerless opera gloves, man! There's not much else to be said. Magica is, like, maybe pushing four feet on a good day, in heels. ♚ FASHION: It's a cartoon and she has one outfit! It is, as mentioned before, a long black halter dress, only the halter part just turns into a full-on hooded cloak fastened with a purple stone. She also has a weird little choker thing on her neck that doesn't seem to connect to the rest of the ensemble, plus black elbow-length gloves. She used to not wear shoes but now she does?? I think she might be wearing shoes with heels and black tights as of her latest episode and the knowledge tortures me each and every day. ♚ DEMEANOUR: "Chatty and unhinged." You get the sense that if it were up to her, she'd be delivering villainous speeches pretty much constantly, and it's not like she isn't good at that if you discount the duck thing! But she also has a mode of speech which is more pat and matter-of-fact, and she'll seesaw wildly between one extreme and the other. Magica very clearly does not give a shit about anyone around her, and will either forget or pretend to forget their names. Her penchant for melodrama extends to how she takes up space. If she can fly, she'll hover over people condescendingly and just kind of poof to the other side of the room without warning! If she can't, she'll hop up on a table! Either way she will gesture violently with her hands and break into full-on villain laughter whenever she's pleased about something. ♚ SOUND: Catherine Tate doing the goddamn most. ♚ SCENT: dark magic, old pizza, and bog water ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: It's not gonna be relevant here! But if it is, hoo boy. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: If, through some miracle, your character can sense magical energy despite the power dampening, they can tell that Magica has none of it left! But also that she is unquestionably someone who did have a lot of it at one point, and that it was dark and malevolent. If she ever regains her amulet/staff, it'll feel similar -- there's no magic in it right now, but its signature is the same as hers. ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: Hell yeah! ♚ FOURTHWALLING: she'll just assume it's a parallel universe thing anyway so sure ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: trust me when I say this will never come up ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I mean run it past me first but it's a murdergame so yeah! As a cartoon and a goddamn idiot, she tends to cartoony violence. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: lmao ♚ PERMISSIONS: jesus christ I can't believe my character pattern in this game is "technicolor cartoon who I still have to write up a deeply sincere content warning disclaimer for" BUT ANYWAY Magica is an extremely unpleasant person with no qualms about threatening and attempting to murder children, but more importantly she's a terrible, terrible aunt to her niece Lena. While aunt is the term she chooses to assign herself, she's technically more of a a parental figure, since Lena is her shadow made a sentient being, and the emotional abuse and forced control of her body Magica put her through is very much played straight. Since she's post-regaining her own body and an egomaniacal monster, chances are Lena won't get discussed or mentioned often, but I beyond understand if you'd rather opt out of it entirely or just don't want her to tag your characters at all!
